Call Me, 2000
Enamel on canvas with wood

At the time of this painting's creation I listed my phone number on the frame.

I implored the viewer/artwork owner to call me after viewing this piece. Since this piece was about extremes, I wanted to know how the conversation would start, where would it go and how it would end.

The piece is traditional. Yet modern.

It is smooth. Yet textured.

It is silver. And gold.

It is meaningful. Yet meaningless.

It is this. And it could possibly be that. Possibly.
