Commissions

A few times a year Joe takes on individual commissions inspired by current and past pieces. Please fill out a request below if you are interested in a commission piece.

COMMISSION PROCESS

The studio will work with you to create a custom piece. This collaborative process begins with gathering inspiration from your space and sharing which of Joe's paintings resonate deeply with you. We will discuss the colors and compositions that you have in mind and create a visual document to set the tone for the project.

Once the project is approved, Joe will create a color palette proposal and scale maquette before starting work on the final piece. The timeline is generally six to eight weeks from start to finish depending on size and number of pieces.

Some typical sizes include: 30 x 40 inches, 36 x 48 inches, 48 x 60 inches, 60 x 60 inches, 60 x 80 inches. You may request a custom size or multiple pieces in diptych or triptych form to complete your space.

Commission projects require 50% deposit upfront, and 50% upon completion of the project. Commissions under $5k are requested to be paid in full. Not all commission requests are guaranteed to move forward, but the studio will do its best to accommodate all projects big and small.
