RIGHT: I am fascinated by the dynamics of life and how we and our memories swirl and overlap each other. This is ripe for the foundation of a new terra firma, since these new parts become the whole.
In this painting, I decided to represent that 'swirling' as something pleasant and fashionable. The title came from a Los Angeles suburb I travelled to once. I used it at random like beauty finding an innocent observer at a street corner.
