Temperamental Turbulence, 2000
Oil on canvas
20 x 24 in.
Here I have abstracted a flower bed. It is to simulate the focus on natural beauty and the abundance of joy.
Despite the process of bringing a wished object into clarity, barriers of resistance become present that block the very trophy I have been seeking.
These walls of sabotage have been temperamental. And they have provided degrees of turbulence. From mild to violent.
It probably has a lot to do with my attachment style.
